How we handle your personal data

Personal data is any type of information that can be linked to a single living individual - directly or indirectly. When and how personal data may be used is regulated by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Innovatum Science Park is the data controller for the data we collect.

In order to fulfill our mission

Innovatum Science Park is a public organization with a regional mission to help strengthen business in western Sweden. We process personal data that is needed to fulfill our mission.

We store personal data (name, position, e-mail, phone number and any pictures) during the time you interact with Innovatum Science Park in projects, networks, incubator process, boards or other activities.

We store personal data (name, telephone, e-mail and any food preferences) provided in connection with registrations for events such as workshops, seminars or conferences. The data is stored for as long as it is required for administration and accounting and in cases where we believe that you, based on your professional role, have an interest in further information from us.

We also store names and emails provided when you subscribe to our newsletters or emails. When you unsubscribe, we delete your personal data.

Based on your professional role, we may also collect personal data from other sources, such as your employer or publicly available records when we consider that you may be interested in Innovatum projects, networks or events.

Your personal data may be processed by Innovatum's data processors when we collaborate with others on events and activities.

Innovatum is subject to the principle of openness. This means that all documents, including personal data, may be public documents and may be disclosed to anyone who requests it.
