How can Swedish space expertise and innovation lead to more customers, investments, partnerships, and business opportunities? During the Summit, stakeholders from various parts of the space ecosystem will come together to discuss the industry’s needs and what it takes to move from innovation and pilot projects to solutions that are put into practice.
The program begins with a discussion of commercialization and innovation. Afterward, industrial companies will share their needs and discuss what it takes to open up new markets, find customers, and attract more investment.
During the afternoon, the focus will be on the needs of the public sector and how space-based solutions can be applied in practice. Examples from areas such as civil defense, efforts to combat waste-related crimes, meteorology, and rail transportation illustrate the breadth of possible applications. The day will conclude with adventurer Renata Chlumska, who will share her experiences of turning ambition into action.
Innovatum has helped curate this year’s lineup of speakers. Karin Nilsdotter, Strategic Head of Space & Defense at Innovatum Science Park, will moderate the Summit and lead the discussions throughout the day.
Space Sweden was founded by four Swedish space and deep-tech incubators: Arctic Business in Luleå, Ideon Science Park in Lund, Innovatum Science Park in Trollhättan, and Uppsala Innovation Centre in Uppsala. Together, these organizations work to strengthen commercialization, collaboration, and growth in the Swedish space industry.
The program explores how the Swedish space industry can grow through more customers, investments, and partnerships. Industry representatives and public sector actors share their needs and discuss how space-based solutions can move from pilot projects to practical application—with examples from areas such as defense, the environment, meteorology, and railways.
