Higher quality, less waste of resources, and faster production!

Higher quality, less waste of resources, and faster production. These are just a few of the opportunities that AI is creating for the industry of the future—starting today.

As part of AISAM (AI Supported Adaptive Manufacturing), we recently visited Linköping and the construction site of the Sweden AI Factory, an initiative designed to strengthen Sweden’s ability to develop and apply artificial intelligence. At the same time, work within AISAM continues to make important strides forward. The first demonstration was recently held at Saab, where project participants showcased results that lay the groundwork for the next step in the development of automated inspection of complex products. The areas of application are numerous, ranging from the aerospace industry to components for the energy systems of the future.

This study demonstrates how AI can be used to strengthen quality control, streamline processes, and leverage the expert knowledge that today often relies on the experience of individual employees. By combining advanced image analysis, data, and industrial expertise, new opportunities are created to detect deviations earlier and make better decisions in production.
