She becomes the new CEO of Innovatum Science Park

Linda Bohlin Trajkovski

On August 1, Linda Bohlin Trajkovski will take over as the new CEO of the Innovatum Group, which includes Innovatum Science Park, West Sweden Energy Agency, Innovatum Science Center, Saab Car Museum and Wargön Innovation. Linda succeeds Martin Wänblom who has led the group since 2016.

- The Board is very pleased to announce that Linda Bohlin Trajkovski will take over as the new CEO in August. There has been a thorough recruitment process with over 60 applicants. The choice fell on Linda because we see that she is exactly the right person for the job. She has the personal skills required and at the same time a broad understanding and anchoring in the entire business," says Paul Åkerlund, Chairman of the Board of Innovatum AB.

For the past seven years, Linda has been head of Innovatum Science Park's project activities, which also include test and demo environments and a number of different business networks. The business currently runs about 50 socially transformative projects that together engage more than 450 companies and have a turnover of about SEK 160 million.

Linda's experience at Innovatum Science Park goes back further than that. In 2007, she built up the startup business together with the then incubator manager and for eight years she supported entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas.

- I am very happy for the trust and at the same time humbled by the task. We are one of the country's largest science parks and our work has the potential to make a big difference in the transition of society," says Linda.

During her years at Innovatum Science Park, Linda has helped to build Wargön Innovation from a project idea to an independent company with a prominent test and demo environment in material innovations. Through her role in the group management team, she has also worked on the group's new strategic direction in industrial technology, which was adopted in 2021.

- I look forward to continuing our work to transform the strategy into sharp initiatives to put the Innovatum Group and western Sweden on the map nationally in industrial technology.

Linda Bohlin Trajkovski will take over as the new CEO on August 1, and when asked what is important to her in the new role, the answer is:

- We have a fantastic corporate culture that I think is extremely important to manage and develop. The employees are the business and it is they and their great commitment that make everything happen!
