Aerospace Cluster Sweden is a cluster whose members represent Swedish knowledge and expertise in aerospace. When Innovatum Science Park organized their successful annual conference, the participants got to know several current issues for the industry.

On April 17, Innovatum Science Park organized an annual conference for Aerospace Cluster Sweden. The conference was held at Innovatum District with almost 50 participants from more than 30 different companies. The visitors started the conference with an appreciated tour of the Production Technology Center (PTC). - For us at Härdservice, this type of event is important as it often contributes to future collaborations. Today's event was really good with many interesting discussions and drawings" says Johan Kinell from Härdservice.

The rest of the event was held at the SAAB Car Museum where participants, in addition to being able to follow the history of SAAB and see their collection of about 120 cars, also got to take part in several different current topics in aviation and space.

- It is so important to have this type of gathering that builds trust between companies and lays the foundation for collaboration. This in turn provides the opportunity for a faster transition of the industry, says Victor Blom, project manager at Innovatum Science Park.

Several important and hot topics were presented during the afternoon and dealt with; members' capabilities, opportunities for collaborative projects and public funding for SMEs, the importance of NATO for Swedish SMEs and how to make aerospace a more attractive employer. The day ended with a presentation on major investments in Sweden in aerospace.

A lot of oxygen in ACS now and you had put together a very nice day with good content says Erik Kullgren from Elitkomposit
