Through collaboration with companies in the manufacturing industry, the PTC Innovation Accelerator project will strengthen the PTC's role as a key link between industry and the resources available in the collaborative arena.
The project, which runs from 2025 to 2027, will create new opportunities for innovation and development.
The PTC Innovation Accelerator will contribute to an increased capacity, to support the manufacturing industry with a unique environment for testing, demo, development and research. In addition, the project includes a new focus area: production planning, management and control. This is particularly valuable for production managers, production engineers, digital systems developers, and students and researchers in engineering and organization.
The project is funded by Region Västra Götaland and the European Regional Development Fund, both contributing SEK 4.3 million each. Together with contributions from GKN Aerospace and Siemens Industrial Software, the total project funding amounts to SEK 10.8 million.
The total project cost amounts to SEK 10.8 million. Thanks to valuable collaborations and the approved funding, PTC can further strengthen its support to the West Swedish manufacturing industry and contribute to increased innovation and competitiveness.
