Wargön Innovation enables the production of the materials of the future. In collaboration with entrepreneurs, companies and public actors, Wargön Innovation develops and commercializes new, sustainable materials.

Wargön Innovation offers technical resources, expertise and the networks needed to guide a material innovation from idea to finished product. Wargön Innovation builds projects in collaboration where material innovations are guided through all important phases of product and business development. Prototypes are produced, properties are developed and verified and the business potential is evaluated. The product or service can be tested here on a smaller scale on its way to larger production volumes and market introduction.

The organization is small and flexible, and can participate in all parts of the development process with methods, skills, technical equipment and a network of entrepreneurs, colleges, universities, companies and research institutes. The goal is always to take an idea all the way to a product or service that is ready to be commercialized.

Wargön Innovation is currently leading several projects, including finding solutions for more efficient recycling of textiles and creating new biodegradable materials in fashion, agriculture and healthcare.
