The workshop is part of the SMART Transition project and its mission is to equip companies in Västra Götaland for the demands of the future. By thinking circularly, companies can not only reduce their environmental impact but also strengthen their competitiveness.
Companies also participated in practical exercises to reflect on how the different models and strategies can be applied in their businesses. The exercises helped companies identify potential actions and opportunities to start their journey towards a more circular business model.

Discussions ranged from global perspectives to practical day-to-day challenges and highlighted, among other things, the growing EU requirements on sustainability reporting. Many SMEs face these issues alone, which made the workshop a valuable forum for sharing experiences and developing ideas.
-"Participants gained concrete tools and insights that they can immediately start using in their business. This is how change starts - one step at a time, says Linda Nordén, project manager at Innovatum Science Park and the SMART transition project
