- The pilot collaboration means that a special education group in Trollhättan is testing our cognitive mobile game and digital tools in their activities. Pupils, teachers and guardians will use it both during lessons and in their free time. Feedback from all parties is collected continuously through follow-ups and questions, which helps us in the continued development work, says founder Marcus Grandin, who is a teacher himself and has many years of experience working in LSS homes.
The game is structured so that the user fills in their daily activities, such as lessons or leisure activities. The activities are then transformed into game moments where the user leads a character through different environments to complete the tasks.
- By turning the day's planned activities into a game with rewards, we create predictability, motivation and participation for children and young people with neuropsychiatric disabilities, such as ADHD and autism," says Marcus.
The pilot project with the City of Trollhättan will run until the end of the spring semester. In parallel, a test project is also underway with LSS activities at the company Nytida.
- We are very happy and grateful for the collaboration with Trollhättan City. With the knowledge and commitment of the educators, we have the best conditions for creating something that really works for the target group, Marcus concludes.
The team behind Scenario consists of Marcus Grandin, Niklas Edlund, Jakob Sandgren and Jordy Dewerchin. Since the fall of 2024, the team has been part of Innovatum Science Park's incubator, where they receive business development support and the conditions to further develop their idea.
