How we're electrifying boating
What began as a shared ambition grew into the go:LEIF project. Now that the project has been completed, there are concrete results, guidance documents…
The system involves purifying the water in the plant through a series of filters and recirculating it, preventing the leakage of nutrients to the sea. At the same time, the water quality and living conditions of the fish can be very carefully controlled, resulting in good animal welfare and a very high quality end product.
The aim of the project is to secure a concept of a recirculating closed system for a market introduction.
This type of fish farming will promote sustainable use of resources in aquaculture and is innovative for future fish farming on land. The results of the project could form the basis for future sales of whole systems both in Sweden and abroad.
