Biogas West

Biogas West connects different actors in the biogas chain. From municipalities, energy companies and agricultural companies to the automotive industry, fuel companies and researchers. The goal is to help realize the great potential that exists in the region and stimulate both production and consumption of biogas in Västra Götaland.

The project will explore new areas for biogas and work in active exchange with participating actors in the network. Biogas Väst is the collaborating party that brings together and captures the needs and challenges of the actors. Important initiatives are to explore the changing production potential for agriculture and highlight its role in the transition to a fossil-free society, and to further explore the role of biogas for the transition in the industrial and transport sectors.
