Coexistence for increased seafood production
The project aims to increase understanding of the co-existence of different forms of production, "multi-use", at sea and strengthen seafood production value chains on land.
The project is funded by:
BlueActionBANOS is a Horizon Europe project that supports blue actors and initiatives in local communities around the Baltic and North Seas. The aim is to restore our seas and waters while strengthening a circular and sustainable blue economy.
BlueActionBANOS (BAB) takes Mission Ocean further - from pilot projects to large-scale solutions. The project builds on the experience of the four-year initiative BlueMissionBANOS and takes the next step by creating more opportunities for local actors around the Baltic Sea and the North Sea to go from idea to real results.
The goal is clear: to work together to create innovative interventions that help restore our oceans and waters - and build a sustainable blue future.
BlueActionBANOS is supported by 18 partners from Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Poland.
