A combination of LinkedIn and Facebook
Founders Jonathan Svensson and Edwin Flataunet want to create a community for gamers that works like LinkedIn and Facebook, but is aimed at gamers and the gaming world. The idea came about because the founders are enthusiastic gamers themselves and missed the opportunity to get in touch with other gamers and to easily and quickly share content with them. In addition, both have previous experience of running a business with an extensive customer base and a large community.
"As passionate gamers, we have encountered the problem on a daily basis both when we play ourselves and within our community," says co-founder Jonathan Svensson
A matchmaking tool for players
Duoo aims to offer a comprehensive matchmaking tool for players. Users will have the option to search for gaming partners based on various criteria, including gender, language, and more. This detailed search feature ensures that players can find the perfect gaming companion that matches their preferences and enhances the gaming experience.
Want to combat negative online behavior
The platform will not only make it easier for gamers to match with like-minded players. Jonathan and Edwin, with the help of Duoo.gg, also want to actively combat the problem of bad behavior online. The founders often come into contact with foul language and negative behavior online. They want to change this with, among other things, a community-driven rating system that will allow players to rate their gaming experience with their respective gaming partners.
-"We see good opportunities to actively combat negative online behavior with the help of Duoo," Jonathan continues
Together with their business coach, Frida Jägerbrand as a sounding board, the founders are ready to revolutionize the gaming community by developing this exciting community.
