Automation Day 2023 is here, inviting the manufacturing industry to a day packed with insights and innovations in automation and digitalization.
Automation Day 2023 is an event that brings together experts, companies and organizations in automation and digitalization in the manufacturing industry. This year's Automation Day offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in topics such as artificial intelligence (AI), circularity and the importance of the organization for successful automation. The event takes place on November 30 at the Production Technology Center in Trollhättan.
Participants will hear presentations from industry experts, explore exhibitions with the latest technology from leading suppliers, discover exciting startups, and see impressive demonstrations from the research at the Production Technology Centre.
- Automation Day 2023 will be a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration between leading experts and companies in automation and digitalization. We hope to provide participants with increased insight and inspiration to take their companies and industries into the future," says Jan Oscarsson, Innovation Manager at Innovatum Science Park.
Focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The morning will start with a strong focus on artificial intelligence and its use in the manufacturing industry. Astrid Sjögren, an experienced AI expert, will provide insight into how AI can create added value for industry and highlight application areas for how Swedish industrial companies can integrate AI into their operations in a meaningful way.
Marcus Frantzén, senior consultant from Evoma AB, will show practical examples of how simulation and AI can be used to optimize complex production processes. Johan Bengtsson and Matilda Hurtig from Göteborg Tekniska Collage will present "Production for Future," where industrial AI meets challenges in gender equality and inclusion.
Research demonstrations and networking
During the afternoon, the focus shifts towards Automation projects, circularity and the role of the organization for successful automation with several exciting presenters, the afternoon will be about. Among others, Oskar Falk from NOVO Energy will talk about how to build a battery factory and how such a giant project is implemented. Emil Falk, CEO of WindowGlass Recycling AB, will share how his startup is revolutionizing the recycling industry through automation and recycling of window glass.
The company Främmestadverken AB will talk about their conversion of existing equipment instead of investing in a new processing cell. Victor Backman, CEO of Främmestadverken, and Peder Edholm from AH Automation AB share their experiences and challenges in converting older equipment.
