Great interest in Automation Day 2023

The Production Technology Center in Trollhättan offers the most important event of the year for automation and digitization in the manufacturing industry. This year's edition focuses on AI and circularity in industry and this year breaks a record in registered participants, which shows the great interest Automation Day creates.

- Since we have representatives from the local industry already in the planning stage of the Automation Day, the content of the day is steered directly towards topics that are interesting to them and the local area. The whole purpose of the event is to spread and share inspiration, knowledge and experience between companies, so this will be a perfect arena to make contacts to develop their business, says Jan Oscarson, project manager at Innovatum Science Park and responsible for the Automation Day planning group.

Automation Day has been organized since 2014 and offers an exciting mix of lectures, exhibitions and demonstrations. This year's Automation Day will feature 24 exhibitors, both leading suppliers of automation equipment as well as exciting start-ups and about 300 participants from 120 different companies.

-"For us, this will be our first year participating in Automation Day," says Anders Mejlvang, from Winteria. Several of us in the company have been to the event before and feel that the fair is very positive for the industry. This is better than a regular technology fair because the event is niche and we who meet here are interested in the same thing. We are really looking forward to the mix of seminars, mingling and demonstrations.

The day includes presentations on AI and its use in industry, we also get a closer look at various automation projects, circularity and the importance of the organization for successful automation. In addition, the latest results from research at University West will be presented.

-"We see an increased interest in Automation Day and this year we have a fully booked event. There are always exciting meetings when exhibitors and visitors who share an interest in industrial automation and digitization get to meet and be inspired, concludes Jan Oscarson.
