The conference highlights the rapidly growing field of space as a strategically crucial sector, not only for technological development and climate monitoring, but also as a key tool for national and international security.
- Space is not a distant sphere, but an arena for security policy. To meet the challenges and opportunities that this entails, we are gathering to highlight innovation and technological developments that can help strengthen our security and industrial competitiveness. The fact that the Space Forum brings together leading actors from politics, industry and research here in Trollhättan is proof of the important role our region plays in the space industry of the future. The Production Technology Center is an example that is at the forefront of transforming visions into reality and concrete solutions, says Linda Bohlin Trajkovski, CEO of Innovatum Science Park.
This year's theme is "Sweden - A New Space Era" and the program includes seminars on space innovation, climate monitoring, defence and security, space transportation and international cooperation.
The conference is organized by Föreningen Rymdforum and hosted by the City of Trollhättan and GKN Aerospace in collaboration with Innovatum Science Park and University West.
