During a packed lunch event at the Production Technology Center in Trollhättan, Innovatum Science Park handed out the newly established Business Angel of the Year award in Trollhättan. The winner was Jenny Iodlovsky Norrby, who was honored for her active involvement among the entrepreneurs at the incubator.

-So incredibly honored to receive the Business Angel of the Year award! I am very happy that what I do is recognized and appreciated. It's not really a gender issue, but I'm most happy to be able to be a role model for more women to be interested in becoming business angels. After a long working life with experience of many industries and roles, including as CEO in three completely different industries and a large network of contacts, it's great to be able to help young entrepreneurs and startups open doors in different ways," says Jenny.

Since 2003, the incubator at Innovatum Science Park has supported hundreds of start-ups through business advice, contacts and support for raising capital.

To create even better capital conditions for entrepreneurs, the InnoCap investor network was launched in 2023. As part of this initiative, the prize was established with the aim of recognizing a business angel whose efforts have been of great importance to the startup companies.

- An angel investor is not just a person who invests capital. It is also a person who is active in the startup world and shares knowledge, networks and time. Jenny exhibits exactly these qualities," says Deborah Lygonis, Investment Manager at Innovatum Science Park and responsible for the InnoCap investor network.

Winner's motivation:

Through her active involvement and drive, she has made a big difference for startups at Innovatum Science Park's incubator. She has supported entrepreneurs through her time, knowledge and contacts. In the newly formed investor network InnoCap, she is a positive driving force and is an important piece of the puzzle for future investments in investment companies.

During tonight's Trollhättan Business Awards, we will also present the Startup of the Year award. You can read more about Trollhättan Business Awards here.
