Knowledge day for startups and investors - focus on product development

On May 29, we organized the second knowledge day of the year for the startup companies in the incubator. The theme was product development, testing and patents. During the afternoon, investors also joined when startup pitches were in the center.

In February, we kicked off the year with a knowledge day on the theme of investment. The focus was on what choices are available when it comes to financing strategies for startups? How do different investors think? And how are startups actually valued? Now it was time for the second of four meetings. The title of the day was now "The art of developing a product".

We had Klaus Nohlås from Testscouts as our guest, who focused on the importance of testing and quality assurance of your products and services at an early stage. He also talked about the consequences when errors are discovered by customers, how it can affect the credibility of your company, and not least, what you can do about it.

The next perspective was patents and rights, where Göran Calås from Calås Innovation offered examples and in-depth information.

Before it was time for the startups to pitch their ideas on stage, we got to listen to a startup story with Leo Hon Wu from LumeoTech. An exciting story with a focus on product development, challenges and solutions.
