Space Success for West Sweden

The aim of the project is to create new space startups that use space technology solutions to solve problems on Earth (downstream), or startups with solutions that can be used in space (upstream).

The project will also contribute to:

• That important and available space data and space technology developed today will benefit society
• Developing sharp tools to support innovation and entrepreneurship in space that are currently lacking
• Increasing opportunities for job creation and tax revenue

Expected long-term effects
The project has initiated the creation of a new growth industry in space technology in West Sweden. The region's and Sweden's international attractiveness is strengthened in high-tech and the space industry. Space is a Swedish area of strength that generates increased export revenue for West Sweden and Swedish companies.
