Carjoy wants to change the engineering industry

Carjoy wants to change and modernize the workshop industry and solve an everyday problem that many vehicle owners recognize themselves in. Now we welcome them as a new startup in the incubator.

Carjoy , like many other products and services, was born out of a perceived problem. A problem about why it should be so difficult to find a workshop that has both fair prices, can carry out work at relatively short notice and also in a place that does not cause logistical problems.

Carjoy, headed by Simon Ekstrand and Jonas Aronsson, wants to solve the problem by offering mobile vehicle technicians who service and fix your vehicle at home or at the location of your choice. The goal is also to contribute to reduced consumption and environmental impact by eventually collaborating with car dismantling companies to offer used, tested and approved spare parts.

During Startup Day, Simon Carjoy pitched in front of 400 people in the audience and an impressed jury.

Finalists in our business idea competition

The incubator became aware of the team and their business idea when they reached the final of the Innovatum Science Park Startup Challenge business idea competition, which we organized together with Swedbank in the autumn. During Startup Day in November, which gathered around 400 people, the team pitched on stage and finally took home a shared second place.

The jury saw great potential in Carjoy and on January 1 this year, the company became part of the incubator. The team will now receive professional business advice, help with contacts and partnerships, support in finding funding and a range of other business benefits to help them on their way to their goal!

- We see the opportunity to be part of Innovatum Science Park's incubator as a great advantage in our journey to change the engineering industry. With Innovatum Science Park's expertise and support behind us, we hope to get the best possible conditions for raising external capital that will make a launch and rapid expansion possible, says Simon.
