Innovatum Science Park's incubator is ranked as one of Sweden's best incubators and is the only one in the country focusing on industrial technology. In August, entrepreneur and investor Frida Finnman takes over as incubator manager with the goal of attracting more high-tech and 3D-printed startups to Trollhättan.
In connection with this, the current incubator manager Eivind Vogel-Rödin leaves the role to start his own company.
- We are very pleased to be able to present Frida as the new incubator manager. She has been a highly appreciated business coach with us since 2019 and has a solid background both as a leader and entrepreneur. Frida has built up a deep understanding of how we need to develop the business going forward, she stands for continuity which is important to us, and has the personal qualities required for the role, says Linda Bohlin Trajkovski, CEO of Innovatum Science Park.
Creating more opportunities for startups
Frida will take up her role on August 1st and will work to attract more high-tech startups to Trollhättan - with a special focus on dual-use, remanufacturing and metal 3D printing. An important part of the job will also be to further develop the collaboration with University West to get more researchers and PhD students to commercialize their research.
- I look forward to working with the team to further develop the work and create more opportunities for startups. With PTC's world-leading ecosystem in metal 3D printing, a strong investor network and large companies that want to collaborate with startups, we can offer fantastic conditions. In addition, I can proudly say that we have one of Sweden's strongest coaching teams to support," says Frida.
