The product is the brainchild of carpenter Martin Blomfeldt, who after 15 years in the industry grew tired of inefficient assembly and unnecessary damage during disassembly. His solution: a mounting bracket that clicks into place - without screws, measurements or special tools.
- Today, joists and glue or screws are often used to assemble roof connections in kitchens. This means that parts often have to be broken off during inspections or repairs, which takes time and causes unnecessary damage. With our fitting, you just press the panel in place - quickly, neatly and without visible screws," says Martin Blomfeldt, CEO and founder of Hantino.
Thanks to a built-in stop, each panel is positioned with millimeter precision without measuring. In addition, the fitting enables the entire kitchen to be completed immediately - even before the electrician has been on site.
- Often you have to leave the last part of a kitchen undone while waiting for the electrician. With our fitting, the electrician can easily take down the ceiling connection and fitting pieces without destroying anything. It makes the whole workflow smoother," says Martin.
There has been great interest from the industry, and among the first customers is the MTA Bygg och Anläggning group.
- We want to be at the forefront and think it's important to test new sustainable solutions. And we are a little lyrical about this solution! With Hantino's fittings, we don't get any visible screws and all the brackets end up exactly the same. It really simplifies the installation job as we avoid all the extra measuring that otherwise takes place," says site manager Per-Anders Bengtsson.
The building materials trade has also shown interest - including Derome in Mölndal.
- "My goal is to have the mounting bracket in the range after the holidays. We believe that it can be of great use to our customers who assemble kitchens on a daily basis," says Mathias Franzén, Kitchen Sales Manager at Derome.
The bracket, which can also be used for mounting on, for example, wardrobes, is made of recycled and biodegradable material and all manufacturing takes place locally in Gothenburg.
The fitting has recently been launched on the market and the long-term goal is to get kitchen manufacturers to include it as a complete solution in their kitchen deliveries.
In parallel with sales efforts, work is also underway to develop more smart solutions for the industry.
- In my 15 years in the industry, I have come across many inefficiencies. The goal is to develop sustainable products that really make a difference, based on the needs of the industry, and together with them," Martin concludes.
Since the fall of 2024, Hantino is one of the selected startup companies included in Innovatum Science Park's incubator. The team consists of Martin Blomfeldt and the new co-owner Anders Larsson.
