From conversations to concrete results
The same picture recurs among companies and organizations; this is a place where ideas take shape and collaborations begin.
– We are full of inspiration, new knowledge, ideas and contacts! writes Marint centrum.
– A super inspiring meeting place for the entire seafood industry, summarizes Nuntorp Gård.
It's not just about inspiration – it's about tangible benefits. The conversations that start here continue, and in many cases lead to new initiatives and business opportunities.
A receipt from the participants
The interest was great – and so was the response. In this year's evaluation, participants gave the Nordic Seafood Summit an average rating of 4.1 out of 5, with over 80 percent stating that they were very satisfied with the overall experience.
Many highlight the meetings and the opportunity to meet the right stakeholders as the most valuable thing. Some comments from the evaluation were: “Important meeting place with so many positive impressions” and “Thank you very much! Incredible arrangement!”.
At the same time, the evaluation shows that the stage program is also appreciated, with an average rating of 3.9, which gives us organizers direction for continued development.
- We are very proud of this year's Nordic Seafood Summit, and the fact that so many people experience it as a relevant and valuable meeting place is a strong testament to the work behind it. The evaluation is an important compass for us, we take with us much of what is raised and this year's response definitely gives us the energy to dare to think new things. We can already see that next year will develop in an exciting direction, says Emelie Hennström, project manager at Innovatum Science Park and Nordic Seafood Summit.
Innovation that you could taste
A clear common thread throughout the days was how innovation in seafood is not only discussed – but experienced. The School Food Academy describes the result as “a fantastic receipt… incredibly delicious and appreciated!” , while SWITCH Food Hub Sweden highlights it as “a receipt of the great potential that exists in seafood” .
Innovation didn't stop on stage – it was served, tested and discussed around the table.
Public meals as a key to moving forward
A central question during this year's summit was how seafood can take a greater place in public meals. The procurement authority highlights the public sector as “an important arena for introducing tomorrow's sustainable seafood” – a question that recurred in several conversations and sessions.
There is a clear direction forward here - to move from potential to volume. The whole - from stage programs to meetings and tastings - seems to have created an experience that engages and lingers.
