Coexistence for increased seafood production
The project aims to increase understanding of the co-existence of different forms of production, "multi-use", at sea and strengthen seafood production value chains on land.
The Nordic Seafood Summit brings together the entire value chain, from fishermen and farmers to wholesalers, processors, retailers, restaurants, researchers, policy makers and authorities. The aim is for the event to focus on community and forward thinking and on the future rather than the past, and to develop a platform for dialog and inspiration on how to jointly meet the challenges that exist, while creating better conditions both economically and in terms of sustainability for the industry as a whole.
Nordic Seafood Summit is a non-profit organization, owned by Nordic Fish Fair and developed with support from Region Västra Götaland. Behind the event are Finnvacum, Innovatum Science Park, Västkustfiskarna and Per Lindqvist Omberg.
