VR sports take place in the incubator

Just before Christmas, Bashar Hariri and Danar Mustafa pitched their business idea to our business team. Now VR sports has taken its place in the incubator with the aim of shaping the future of sports entertainment.

The two friends met as students at Chalmers University of Technology and have bounced hundreds of different ideas around over the years. In the end, it was their common interest in sports that made them decide to go for it.

Through VR Sports , they are now making it possible to experience sports digitally in a whole new way.

As a football fan today, you have two options if you want to watch a match. Either you buy a ticket, travel to the stadium and experience the match live. Not everyone has the finances or the opportunity to do this. In addition, tickets sell out quickly for major matches.

The next option is to watch the broadcast digitally. And it is precisely this digital experience that Bashar and Danar want to enhance with the help of VR.

The feeling of being in the stadium

With VR Sports, sports lovers will be able to sit at home in their living room while experiencing matches taking place around the world in a whole new way. The feeling of being in the stadium, in the crowd and close to your favorite players is created through customized camera angles, replays and analysis that take the experience to new heights.

-"We are in exciting talks with several prominent football clubs in Sweden to develop an advanced prototype. Our initiative positions us as pioneers in live streaming of soccer via VR technology, an arena where interest is growing exponentially, especially after the successful launch of Apple Vision Pro in the US," says Bashar.

Looking to revolutionize the viewing experience

Through our incubator , the team will now receive business development support, help with contacts and networks, access to our startup community and more.

- We are very excited to work with Innovatum Science Park's incubator where we get access to experienced mentors and benefit from leading research in VR from academic institutions.

At the beginning of February, Bashar and Danar accompanied us to the GoWest investor conference where they took the opportunity to showcase their technology to many curious participants.

- We are confident that our innovation will revolutionize the experience of watching football, and we look forward to shaping the future of sports entertainment," concludes Bashar.
