Herbox founder takes place on GP's power list

Göteborgsposten has traditionally listed Gothenburg's 100 most powerful people, who together have helped to shape the city in a new era. Herbox co-founder and CEO Hanna Lauste now takes her place on the power list for 2022.

- "It feels fantastic to know that we are making a real difference, and that we, together with all the initiators in schools and businesses, are creating a new standard in society. It's great to realize that we have great influence in municipalities, schools and large companies where we influence both current and future working environments," says Hanna.

Together with her childhood friend Linn Rosenqvist, Hanna wants girls and women's menstrual needs to be taken seriously! Through the startup Herbox , they make free menstrual protection available at schools and workplaces and push the issue for more people to take responsibility for their employees, customers or members' needs for menstrual protection. As the team puts it, "Period protection should be as accessible as toilet paper".

When Göteborgsposten now lists the people who have stepped forward and influenced the lives of Gothenburgers, Hanna Lauste ends up in 89th place on the list.

Part of our incubator

After studying in the US, the childhood friends from Orust started Herbox in 2021. The same year they were admitted to our incubator. Since then, development has gone at breakneck speed. Herbox menstrual protection dispensers can already be found in more than 1000 toilets in about 150 businesses and international expansion is underway.

The customer list includes Liseberg, Plejd and Ryds Glas as well as a dozen municipalities around the country - Uddevalla, Borås, Gotland, Härnösand and Vaxholm are some of them.
