The ESA-BIC Sweden space program, which we help run, is in the final for the place as Sweden's best Accelerator/Incubator program in the Nordic Startup Awards 2023.
The competition is part of the Global Startup Awards, one of the largest startup competitions in the world. In 120 countries on three continents, winners are selected each year in a variety of categories. The winner of Sweden's best Accelerator/Incubator program will be announced on 24 May during Iceland Innovation Week.
Innovatum Science Park is one of four selected incubators in the country that runs the national space program ESA-BIC Sweden. The program runs for two years and is aimed at startups that use existing technology from the space industry or develop new technology and solutions for the space industry.
As an accepted startup, you get about SEK 500,000 in grants, 80 hours of technical support from our leading partners in the ESA network, access to ESA's IP and ESA's international events. In addition, all the business benefits in the form of business development support, community etc. included through our incubator.
