Circular Bioeconomy Arena

The project is funded by:

Increased circularity is a prerequisite for developing tomorrow's forest products and services. In the Circular Bioeconomy Arena, actors in Norway and Sweden collaborate to increase the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises by innovating circular products and services from the forest bioeconomy.

The project builds on previous Interreg Norway-Sweden projects Bioeconomy Regions and Bioeconomy Regions in Scandinavia. This time, Paper Province and Norwegian Wood Cluster are project owners and we have many good collaborative partners in innovation and bioeconomy. The circular forest bioeconomy is obviously in focus as part of how we will lead society through the green transition. The project focuses on wood construction and packaging and will work closely with companies to support small and medium-sized companies to realize their ideas and increase growth in the region.

Through cross-border cooperation, we will develop innovation processes and working methods, but also understand the barriers to cross-border collaboration and the needs of businesses for support in their transition journey.
