The pre-incubator

The environment at Innovatum Science Park in Trollhättan

The pre-incubator is a 12-week program where you, together with other aspiring entrepreneurs, learn more about sustainable business development - from value proposition and market to how to pitch your idea to investors. Lectures and workshops are interspersed with personal assignments and group work. The program is currently paused but please register your interest for future course starts.

  • Access to Innovatum Science Park's modern premises in Trollhättan with workspaces, makerspace and well-equipped conference rooms.

Part 1 - Business development basics

- Personalized presentations.
- Get to know the other participants.
- The basics of sustainable business development.
- Tools and models for idea and business development.
Meeting 1, 2, 3 + Homework

Part 2 - Explore, test & validate the idea

- Business models - How will I make money from my product or service?
- Who is my customer? What is my customer offer and how do I package it? 
- Early customer experiments to gain a deeper understanding of what customers actually need and are willing to pay for.
- MVP - What is it and how can it be used to minimize unnecessary product development and increase learning? 
- The link between customer offer, organization, market and capital.

Part 3 - Contacts & networks

- Mapping the networks and resources you need to take your idea to market.
- How do I build my network and attract the right contacts?
- Awaken the entrepreneur in you and step outside your comfort zone.
Meeting 7, 8, 9 + Homework

Part 4 - Capital & pitch

- Raising capital - what are the options?
- What do investment networks look like?
- What do investors expect from me as a sole trader?
- Learn how to develop a selling pitch deck.
- Pitch training.
- Demo Day with pitch for panel.

Scope of applicationWednesdays from 15-19 for 12 weeks.
For whom?The pre-incubator is aimed both at those who have a business idea to develop right now, and at those who lack a concrete idea and are curious about the future. No prior knowledge of entrepreneurship is required.
What is expected of you?We expect you to:
- Participate and be active during the sessions organized.
- Participate with an open mind and help create a creative and safe environment where all participants can share thoughts, ideas and problems.
- Be open to feedback and advice from both business coaches and other course participants.
