As a child, Sarah suffered from pediatric rheumatism, which has led to sequelae. This has required a lifetime of treatment and still involves many doctor's appointments and medications. Keeping track of doctor's appointments, what was said during previous visits and what medication to take when - can be a constant challenge for people with chronic diseases. Sarah wants to change this and is now investing in her idea, a planning tool for people with chronic diseases.
-"I want to create a tool to help those who have many doctor's visits, medicines and several different medical records to keep track of," says Sarah.
Having previously worked in an incubator and science park, the choice of a pre-incubator came naturally when she decided to test her idea. Sarah describes her time in the pre-incubator as very valuable and she now feels that she has a better overview of where she is in the journey and how to move forward. She also describes the network she gained during the course meetings as rewarding and she hopes to remain within the sphere of Innovatum Science Park even after the end of the course.
-It feels so good to have ended up here! We are a great team with mixed competencies and skills. It's both motivating and challenging, with coaches who ask good questions, who dare to challenge me and who get the group going, Sarah concludes
During the remaining weeks, pre-incubator participants continue to learn more about entrepreneurship with a focus on marketing, customer contact and how to deliver the best pitches to investors, stakeholders and others.
We look forward to continuing to follow Sarah on her journey!
